چکیده
In the context of application textile-reinforced concrete composite (TRC) for strengthening or reinforcing structural elements, an important factor that significantly influences its mechanical behaviour is bond strength textile/cementitious matrix interface. order to improve this bond, reinforcement textile usually treated with different products in manufacturing procedure. This paper presents experimental and numerical results concerning carbon interface from pull-out tests. The was amorphous silica product cementitious embedded lengths. showed all tests gave typical “force – slip” curves as shown literature three phases: perfect bonding phase, debonding pure friction phase. effects length on failure mode textile/matrix specimens could be found analyzed. Concerning mesoscale modeling work, model developed validated by using a nonlinear spring taking into account crack damage calculation. highlighted predict relationship force slip cases textiles within matrix. shows both has good agreement mode.

The fundamental frequencies and mode shapes of steel and carbon fiber–reinforced plastic (CFRP) cylindrical shells with steel inserts were investigated using finite element analysis and modal testing. The free-free boundary condition was tested with modal testing using the roving hammer method and verified by finite element analysis using ABAQUS. The results show good agreement between the test...

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Thickness on the Shrinkage and out of Roundness in Cylindrical Parts in Injection Molding Process
Injection molding process is one of the most important methods of forming in the plastics manufacturing industry. Shrinkage and out of roundness are phenomenons that affect the final product quality. In this study, the effect of the thickness of cylindrical parts from polypropylene material on shrinkage and out of roundness has been investigated. For this purpose, injection molding process is s...
متن کاملFracture Mechanics of the Microbond and Pull-out Tests
The properties of the fiber/matrix interface in composites have an influence on their overall performance. Common methods for studying the interface are micromechanical tests that load a single fiber/matrix interface to failure. Two popular tests are the microbond test [1] and the single-fiber, pull-out test [2]. In a microbond test a droplet of matrix is sheared off the fiber by pulling the fi...
